Emma L. Stegall

Emma Stegall proudly joins the Family Law Division at Gounaris Abboud, where she is dedicated to guiding clients through some of life’s most challenging situations with compassion and determination.

Emma graduated with honors from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelors in Political Science. She spent her college and post-college years working in community-based positions—experiences that shaped her commitment to client advocacy and service.

Emma earned her Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Dayton School of Law (UDSL), where she participated in Moot Court and Law Review.

During law school, Emma gained hands-on legal experience across practice areas. As a Law Clerk for a firm in Greene County, Ohio, Emma assisted with complex family law matters. Emma was also an international Judicial Extern, a Legal Intern in prosecution, and a Legal Intern in criminal defense. After law school, Emma served as a Law Graduate and Assistant Prosecutor for juvenile cases, where she further developed her litigation and community-based skills.

Emma is a member of the Dayton Bar Association (DBA) and an Associate Editor with the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Young Lawyers Division.
